Representing the pinnacle of chef jacket design and quality, our Club Chef Premium Executive Chef Jacket is hand made in Australia from the very finest fabric, threads and craftsmanship available.
Manufactured right here in Fairfield, Victoria, we are proud to produce this chef jacket utilising our small but niche sewing room.
We have a rich history of local manufacturing in Victoria dating right back to 1929, and up until the early 90’s we were still making 100% of our chef and hospitality garments within our local factory in Northcote, Victoria. While this factory was finally closed in 2015 due to escalating costs and limited skilled workers we have still maintained a small department capable of not only alterations and repairs but samples and short runs of custom garments.
Our Premium Chef Jacket is a nod to our local manufacturing heritage and inspired by the legendary pattern makers, cutters and machinists of years gone by who produced superior garments over many decades.
We chose a luxurious 100% cotton fabric manufactured by Kurabo of Japan, who have been milling fabrics since 1888. You may recognise the name Kurabo, who are internationally recognised as producing the highest quality denim in the world. This attention to quality and workmanship extends to their other woven products, including the long fibre staple cotton that we have selected for this chef jacket. It provides a silky feel and premium appearance that far exceeds other quality cottons on the market such as Egyptian and PIMA.
Features of the Premium Executive Jacket include:
– Luxurious 100% long staple cotton by Kurabo, woven in Japan.
– Hand rolled fabric buttons.
– Inserted left sleeve pen pocket providing a seamless appearance.
